I created these pieces to sit on tabletops, fireplace mantles, entryway tables and bring in the outdoor atmosphere. Most of these pieces are Trout mounted on a piece of Polished Larch Root. I walk the forest looking for fallen Larch Trees with their roots exposed. The wood is very tight grained and hard, sanding brings out the color variations in the layers.

Each piece is hand drawn, hand carved, and hand painted, no two pieces will be identical (even if I wanted them to be...). Each piece of Larch Root is also very unique.
